Terms of service

About these terms

These terms govern your use of CollabsMap: the map at collabsmap.com, the creator and partner dashboards, the public API and the MCP server. CollabsMap is operated by Videreo GmbH, Rehalpstrasse 9, 8008 Zürich, Switzerland. By using the platform you agree to these terms. Questions go to hello@videreo.com.

The service

CollabsMap is a discovery and application layer that connects travel content creators with brands running collaboration programs. Videreo provides the platform and facilitates introductions; the commercial terms of any collaboration are agreed directly between the creator and the brand. Videreo is not a party to that agreement.

How brands are ranked

CollabsMap orders the brands shown to creators by how often those brands answer the creators who apply to them, and how quickly. Both are measured over a rolling 90-day window. Brands that answer are shown more prominently; brands that do not are shown less prominently, but are never hidden, removed, or excluded from search.

Some placements are paid. A brand on a paid plan receives a fixed number of Featured days each month, and every Featured placement is labelled as such wherever it appears. Payment has no other effect on ranking: a paying brand and a free brand that answer their applicants identically are ranked identically.

The full parameters — what is measured, over what window, how new brands are treated, and what causes a Featured placement to pause — are published at collabsmap.com/how-ranking-works, which forms part of these terms. That page is generated from the same configuration the platform runs on, so it cannot describe a system other than the one in use.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile and in your applications.
  • You must not misrepresent your audience, statistics, or identity.
  • You can delete your account at any time from settings; see the privacy policy for how erasure works.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the platform. That rules out scraping, spamming, getting around rate limits and uploading unlawful content. Software that reads CollabsMap for someone uses the public API or the MCP server, under the rules in AI agents and the API. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI agents and the API

CollabsMap has a public read-only API and a hosted MCP server, so that AI assistants can search the map for the people who use them. Both are free, need no account, and are described at collabsmap.com/llms-full.txt. Using either means you accept these terms.

  • You may query them for a person who is looking for collabs, or for your own research, and show the results with a link back to the listing on CollabsMap.
  • You may not copy, store or republish the listing and opportunity dataset, in whole or in large part, on another site, app or marketplace without our written permission.
  • You may not use content from CollabsMap to train or fine-tune AI models without our written permission.
  • Stay within the published rate limits and identify your client honestly. Rotating IP addresses or accounts to get around a limit is not allowed.
  • Reading collabsmap.com by scraping it instead of using the API or the MCP server is not allowed.
  • We provide the API and the MCP server as they are, and we may change, limit or switch them off at any time.

For permission or questions, write to hello@videreo.com.

Your content and ours

You keep ownership of everything you upload — your profile, images, portfolio media, and the pitches you write. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, and display that content for the purpose of running the platform: showing your application to the brands you apply to, rendering your profile in the product, presenting your profile to brands looking for creators where you travel or are based (you can turn this off any time in Settings → Permissions), and publishing your public creator profile for as long as it stays published. The licence lasts as long as you keep the content on the platform and ends when you delete it or close your account, subject to the retention periods in the privacy policy.

The platform itself — the map, the listing and opportunity dataset, and the site — belongs to Videreo. You may use it to find and apply to collaborations. You may not copy, resell, republish, or bulk-extract the dataset.

Brand listings

Many listings are compiled from publicly available sources or submitted by the community, and appear on the map before the brand has claimed them. If you represent a brand, you can claim your listing, correct it, or ask us to remove it by writing to hello@videreo.com. While a listing is unclaimed we may forward creator applications to the brand’s publicly listed contact address so the application reaches someone; claiming the listing replaces that with the partner dashboard.

Partner subscriptions and billing

  • Creator accounts are free. Partner plans are Free and Starter ($129 per month, or $99 per month billed annually at $1,188). Managed campaigns are arranged with us directly under their own agreement and are not a subscription. Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT or sales tax, which is calculated at checkout from your billing address.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and we do not refund part-used periods.
  • If a payment fails, your access is unchanged for a 14-day grace period while we retry and email you. If it is still unpaid at the end of that window, the subscription is cancelled and the account reverts to the Free plan.
  • We may change prices. We will tell you before a change applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Partner plans are sold for business use. If you subscribe as a consumer rather than as a business, statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights may apply on top of the above — write to us and we will honour them.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the platform or delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the acceptable-use rules above, that has not paid, or where we are required to by law. Where it is practical and appropriate we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. When an account closes, access ends immediately and your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Warranties and liability

The platform is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any listing is accurate or current, or that applying will result in a collaboration. Listing information is compiled from public and third-party sources. AI-generated pitch drafts are suggestions — you are responsible for what you send.

Collaborations are agreed between the creator and the brand. We are not responsible for their conduct, for whether either side performs, or for the outcome of any collaboration.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or CHF 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost collaborations. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product at least 30 days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the new terms; if you would rather not, you can close your account or cancel your subscription before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, and the courts of Zurich have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
