Not-for-profit hostels, from city centres to the Rockies
Hostelling International Canada is a member-based network that has run hostels since 1933, when the first opened in a tent at Bragg Creek near Calgary. Its hostels range from city stays in Vancouver, Calgary, Québec City and Halifax to ski towns like Whistler and Lake Louise and wilderness hostels along the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper. HI Canada collaborates with content creators who travel on a budget.
