Walk the Highlights of the Julian Alps with Stroll, a 7-day self-guided walk through Slovenia's alpine heart.

The Julian Alps are one of Europe's quieter mountain regions, with glacial lakes, forested plateaus and alpine villages linked by the Juliana Trail. You'll walk from Jesenice through green valleys and old farming villages to Radovljica, known for its preserved old town and beekeeping heritage. You'll spend two nights in Bled, where a wooden pletna boat takes you out to the island church in the middle of the lake. From there you'll cross the forests and meadows of the Pokljuka Plateau and finish at Lake Bohinj, Slovenia's largest natural lake, with a swim at the end of the walk.

What makes walking it with Stroll different is that you don't need to plan a thing. Rather than working out routes, booking each night and carrying your bags from town to town, you simply walk. Your hotels and guesthouses are booked in advance, your luggage is moved ahead to each night's stop, and you walk with just a daypack. You'll have route notes and a navigation app to guide you, breakfast each morning and two dinners of home-style Slovenian food. Stroll is backed by Auswalk Walking Holidays, who have 30 years of experience running walking holidays.

Goals

Stroll is a new brand, and we're building a library of real, first-hand content to show UK and US travellers aged 45+ what a walking holiday with us is like. For this walk, we'd like your content to: - Put the Julian Alps on the map as a walking destination for people who may not have considered Slovenia - Show that a multi-day walk can be comfortable and achievable, with luggage transfers, good hotels and meals taken care of - Capture the feel of each day: the trails, the lakes, the villages and the evenings - Give us authentic footage we can use in paid ads that feels real rather than staged The goal is for your audience to finish watching and think "we could do that".

Content guidelines

We politely request to approve all Reels and edited videos before posting. Stories are to be shared during the walk. Raw footage is due within 7 days and Reels within 30 days of your walk finishing. Tag @strollwalkingholidays on all related Reels, posts and Stories, and disclose the collaboration (e.g. #gifted or paid partnership tag). Raw footage and edited videos may be used on Stroll's channels and in paid ads. If approved, please refer to the Brand Guidelines and shot list sent with your welcome email for best outcomes.
